Few Remaining Seats at the GIN Conference, November 2016

A few remaining seats are still available for the GIN General Members Meeting and Work Retreat to be held in Bangkok Thailand from November 21 – 26, 2016.

Only self-paying positions are available. All sponsored seats have been filled. Positions will be filled on a rolling basis, but applications received after October 1st will not be considered.

Even though these positions are self-paying, you application must still be approved in order to attend to the diversity of the group as a whole.

We have additional seats available, sponsored and self-paying, for people who live locally in Bangkok and will not stay overnight. These seats are specifically intended for people who live and work in Bangkok, not for travelers who live outside Thailand would prefer to stay off site. Self-paying Commuters will pay a much reduced fee to attend.

Our conference will take just prior to the ILGA World Conference, also in Bangkok. The GIN Conference brings together human rights defenders, religious leaders, and the faithful from around the world and a variety of traditions to advance the movement for people of all sexes, sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions.

Over 5 days, we will balance skill-building, healing, strategizing, and networking in a retreat setting. Attendees are asked to participate with a commitment to formulating action plans in working groups that align with the strategic programming areas like religious dialogue and human rights. We encourage creative ideas that can be carried out in partnership with or alongside GIN post-conference to advance the dignity, well-being, and rights of LGBTQI people.
